Not quite legal in Florida

I bandit'd my first race ever while at Disney World. It was the Disney Race for the Taste 10K. I couldn't resist. I mean, I was going all the way to Florida, I needed to get a training run in, it was on Sunday morning (the day after I arrived), it was huge (2600+ entrants), and I got to run through Disney World! For those goody-goody's out there, I truly did try to register but they kept telling me "no". So I said "fine!" and brought an old race number with me, hopped the shuttle to the start line, joined in with all the other runners, and even got a finisher medal at the end. Hooray! I was a bit panicky through the whole thing, thinking that at any moment they were going to notice my fake number and haul me off the course and into some weird animated holding room for questioning. But, no one noticed. It is Florida after all.

Check out the photo of the guy with the real #2298. Yikes!

10K
53:00 / 8:33 pace (sloooow for me)
Had I been legal I would have finished 15th of 269 in my age group (!) Are people in FL that much slower?? (Yes, they are.)
